Basically what I did, parked at Pen-Mar and walked the 0.2 miles to sign.

Then I drove up to High Point which was possible b/c I'm retired on a Wednesday and it had snowed and hike to Raven Rock Road. On a warm weekend there wouldn't have been any parking up there. The road was.. pretty well cleared which was a concern. (alternative was to park on 491 Raven Rock Road and do the climb immediately, hike to High Point and return.

Yeah, I've done MD now w/the exception of Weverton parking to the Harpers Ferry bridge, even that I'ved ridden the C&O on my bike so really only a couple hundred yards from the parking to the tow path.

I've done it, don't know what my plans are now. I could see doing the rest of the Blue Ridge Mountains up to Boiling Springs, PA. might need to cover more miles than by doing out and backs.

On the side, I picked up the full Raven Rocks register and mailed it back to the PATC per their instructions.
